Core Values

Voter’s Voice is a multi-party political committee whose mission is to provide accurate information to encourage the political enthusiasm of the moderate citizens of Livingston County, Michigan.

Separation of Church and State

The idea of a clear separation between the government and religion was so important to our founding Fathers that it was the topic of the First Amendment.
James Madison, the father of the United States Constitution, once observed, “the [religious] devotion of the people has been manifestly increased by the total separation of the church from the state.”

Civil Rights

All people have the right to a good education, equal justice under the law, the opportunity to earn a living wage, and freedom from all discrimination based on race, religion, age, gender or sexual orientation.

Reproductive Health

All people have the right to reproductive freedom, equal access to healthcare, family planning, education and privacy.

Election Reform

The influence of money in politics has corrupted the democratic functioning of our government. The opportunity to serve must be expanded by removing the links between campaign funding, candidacies, and the policies adopted.

Education

The foundation for a fully functioning democracy is an educated people. All people deserve access to education, allowing them to become fully participating, informed citizens.

Environmental Stewardship

Preserving the biodiversity of the earth is essential for the stability of the world’s ecosystems on which our lives depend. This is the foundation for a healthy, sustainable economy.

All communities have the right to live and raise their families in a clean, safe environment.
